From Wednesday, 3rd June, the range will be open from 8am to 1pm 7 days per week. The shortened hours are to allow us to collect all the balls, every day using the ball collector and then to get them sanitised for the following day!
There will be a maximum of 4 people allowed hitting balls at any time so that social distancing can take place.
To keep track of numbers you will be required to book a slot, through the pro shop, to practice for 30 minutes. Once you have finished your 30 minutes you are welcome to phone the shop and if the slots immediately after your session are not booked you can extend your practice to a maximum of 1 hour long game per day.
You can hit as many balls as you wish during your session. Each session will cost £2.50. There is no cash being accepted, so payment by debit/credit cards, bacs or pro shop account is the only way to pay.
Golf balls and baskets will be sanitised in large buckets on site.
The route down to the practice area will be down the path past the putting green and 1st tee, please observe social distancing. The covered bays are not to be used. Continue on the path past the bays and enter the practice ground opposite the 14th green.
There will be 4 areas clearly roped off so that each player has a socially distanced area designated for their practice.
The chipping green will be regarded as a totally separate area and have a one player maximum, again on a time sheet basis. You must collect your balls from the green when finished and tip them and the basket into the sanitizer bin on the range.
Exiting the range will be past the end of the practice nets. These nets and the covered bays must not be used.
I hope these rules will be adhered to, we don’t want to lose the chance to practice having had it returned.
