Eaton Past Captain Ramsay Lamont was presented with half a bottle of left over wine by immediate Past Captain of Captains Jack Makinson to cheer him up after losing on CPO with 38 points to a Past Captain with a handicap giving 37 shots.
Ramsay was not bitter and twisted about being runner up but did say a few naughty words when he pointed out that the winner had 3 shots on the 15th and 2 on every other hole.
Russ and Karen were holding hands in the background and waiting patiently for them to Leave. Captain Phil shared a teaspoon full of the runners up half bottle to help cheer him up.
The winner of the Walton Trophy was a past Captain from Vicars Cross with 39 points who got a full bottle of wine.
