How to Join
INFORMATION FOR PROPSPECTIVE MEMBERS
Eaton Golf Club is a Members Club which means that it is owned and run by its members as a Limited Liability Company. Currently there are 550 members, three quarters male and one quarter female.
Each member pays an Annual Subscription which at Eaton runs from the 1st January to the 31st December each year. Adult members aged 30 and over also buy Shares in order to own part of the Club. The shares are sold back through the Club when the member leaves.
There is a variety of Membership Categories depending on age or the location of your dwelling.
Every new member needs Sponsors, a proposer and a seconder or some other personal recommendation.
In order to join, you will need to fill in an Application Form and return it to the Club Secretary. There is then an Election Process, which includes an interview.
Applications are referred to the Membership Committee, which meets candidates at an early opportunity. The candidates name is placed on the club notice board for a minimum period of fourteen days. The Membership Committee finally decides on admission to membership of the club. The Secretary will then contact successful applicants regarding joining details and the purchase of shares.
