Junior Golf

Thank you for showing an interest in becoming a Junior Member of Eaton Golf Club.

At Eaton, we are very keen to encourage Junior Members and we are fortunate to have an excellent Junior Organiser who along with his assistants and the Professional, try to encourage all our young members from the beginners to those at a stage turning Professional.

We obtained the Golf Foundation Junior GolfMark Award in September 2010.  This national award shows our committment to Junior Golf and covers three main areas:

          Playing and Coaching

         Club Environment

Duty of Care and Child Protection

Further details on GolfMark can be seen by clicking this link

Coaching/ Competions

Coaching sessions are organised by our Professional, Bill Tye, at levels for beginners, improvers and advanced players .

There are regular internal competitions along with matches against other sections of the Club and on attaining a handicap of 24 juniors may also play in mens/ladies sections competitions as appropriate.  Eaton Golf Club also partake in the interclub President Shield matches with Chester, Vicars Cross and Upton by Chester Golf Clubs.

Clubhouse

We are extremely proud of the friendly atmosphere of the Clubhouse.  However, it should be noted that there is no separate Junior room as we believe the junior section should be part of the Club and therefore enjoy the same facilities as all of our members.  Juniors can purchase non alcoholic drinks and food from the bar.
